ISP Freedom2Surf has been sold to rival Pipex in a deal worth £10 million.
It will add the ISP's 40,000 customers to it's consumer base giving it a
total of 250,000, making it easier to go down the LLU route which it announced
in
July. It has said that it will mean that it can install it's equipment
further fourty exchanges in addition to the previously
mentioned sixty.
| "The acquisition of F2S increases customer density around exchanges
already allocated for unbundling, improving return on capital," |
