Cut off by Pipex?

Just imagine, you are happily reading your emails, then you notice one which
tells you it's time to be cut off!!
That's the gist of the mail which dropped into some worried Pipex users inboxes...
| "Your Pipex account has now fallen overdue as we are yet to
receive payment from you. Unless the balance is paid within the next 5 days your Pipex services will be
suspended." |
Ah it's spam......nope it came from a kosher Pipex mail address.....time to
start panicking!
But worry not, it seems Pipex have been sending out the emails in error and
you are still safe to surf, panic over.
| "Pipex apologises for any
inconvenience experienced by some of our customers yesterday (Thursday), when an
automated overdue payments email was sent to those who pay by direct debit. The
issue has now been resolved and our customers informed that their service will
not be suspended due to the incorrect email." |
