MaxDSL upgrade will cost £5, or you can wait

You would think that the time MaxDSL has been around that everyone (who
wanted it) would have been on it by now, but not if your ISP is PlusNet.
Now if you want a fast track to the wonders of 'up to 8Mbps' (are we allow to
say that?)
then you have a problem as the ISP has a 11 week backlog of users wishing to
move. Help is now at hand, if you are prepared to dig into your pockets, as
PlusNet can speed up things to a measly 3 days if you are prepared to stump up a
fiver for the privilege.
"We've processed 65,000 people on the free upgrade,"
"We've [still] got around 11,000 people [in the queue] — it will take a
number of weeks to get those people upgraded through the bulk process." |
