Fast24, finally the end of the road

Fast24 customers have finally been given the heave-ho by the rest of the
companies suppliers.
Last week USolutions decided to
stop supplying
Fast24 for 'unspecified reasons' and now it's other suppliers, Tiscali and
Netservices, have decided to do the same. Fast24 users are finding all web page
requests being redirected a webpage for them to a sign up for EzeeDSL.
This leaves customers with little choice, either they can sign up to a 12 month
contract with EzeeDSL, or let their connections cease and have to wait to be
reconnected to a different supplier, which could result in 10 days with no
broadband. Being able to migrate is not being offered as an option.
The story is all too familiar earlier this year when E7even
went under
leaving customers with the same choice, whether this results in Ofcom looking at
the question of compulsory migrations time will tell.
