Consumer programme Watchdog have released
figures of a poll it carried out on it's viewers into who is the best and
worst broadband provider.
The figures are a compilation of 50,000 voters, as as the BBC stresses, isn't
a proper statistical survey but a snapshot of broadband satisfaction in the UK.
It doesn't make for surprising reading with Talk Talk, Orange and Bulldog at the
wrong eng of the list with the Biscit at the bottom, which may explain why it
has gone bust.
At the other end of the scale is Global, but with such a small number of voters
this maybe a bit skewed. Waitrose, Zen and Madasafish follow up the list with a
good sized representation.
Virgin, NTL and Telewest were treated separately, as the companies had only
just merged and the BBC thought it was too early to assess the new company's
performance.
