Wi-Fi

So where is the world's Wi-Fi hotspot Mecca? The USA, Germany or even Japan? Well actually it's Wales!

Ofcom's recent 'Communications Market Report for the Nations and Regions of the UK' report shows that there are 193 hotspots per million people in Wales, but maybe that's due to the low population.

Another strange fact is that Scotland leads the UK in making VoIP calls and that having a landline available to every household almost as important as having an electricity supply.
