It seems ISP's are entering into the football market, first
PlusNet, and
now Pipex have signed a deal reportedly worth to sponsor Fulham for the next two
years.
This will put the ISP's logo on the team's home and away shirts from the
beginning of the 2005/06 season. Its name will also be emblazoned across the
roof of the stadium, which is conveniently positioned right under the Heathrow
flight path.
As well as commercial opportunities such as perimeter advertising boards and
corporate hospitality, the tie-up will make Pipex the club's exclusive broadband
services partner.
| "We are delighted to confirm this two-year deal with Fulham FC.
We are proud to have the chance to sponsor such a long standing icon
of football." |
