Rumour has it that major UK White Label broadband provider Telefonica's UK division has been sold to Manchester based NetServices.

NetServices first reached many headlines back in December 2004 with the announcement of their intention to seek wind up the now defunt ISP GioInternet. Has Telefonica flogged a dead horse? Or have NetServices started on an agressive purchasing campaign?

An official statement on the purchase is expected later today.
