Zen Internet have announced its new product range following the success of
its participation in the BT Wholesale IPStream Max Trial.
It will launch two new products on March 1st and will replace it's existing
Home 500, 1000 and 2000 packages with an 8Mbps connection with a usage limit.
The Zen 8000 Active and Zen 8000 Pro will be priced at £24.99 and £34.99 per
month respectively, with a monthly usage quota of 20GB for the active connection
and 50GB for the Pro. Zen claim that over 80% of it's users use less than 20GB a
month, which fit's in with what other ISP's are seeing.
Although 8Mbps is the maximum speed attainable, many will receive less due to
poor line conditions and Zen will let each customer know what they can
reasonably expect, although it says that an average would be between 5-6Mbps.
"These new products give us a stronger product portfolio to meet
existing and new market opportunities and enhance the services we can
offer our customers. Our goal remains the same and that is to provide the
best ISP service in the UK. Zen 8000 Active and Pro will be supported by
the same UK based, award winning services that all Zen customers enjoy"
"The new products are a key development and by having them we can now
offer our customers the full range of products and services that they have
been asking us for. Customers now have access to these new products and of
course our “Office range which continues to offer fully unlimited
business broadband giving us a well balanced product offering" |

Existing Zen customers with Home 500, Home 1000 and Home 2000 will continue
to receive the same service. Any of these customers wishing to transfer to one
of the new products they can do so, and will not be charged.
