PlusNet has introduced 'Basic' 8Mbps (or 'up to' !) broadband
package for just £9.99 a month.
The new no frills connection is just that with extras available at an
increased cost, e-mail, anti-virus/spam protection, webspace and Domain name
hosting can be added for an extra £1.99 per month.
Also being a PAYG service the free data allowance isn't that generous, users
will have to make do with a 50MB included data usage, with more available at
0.024p per MB.
| "Adding PAYG Basic to our range makes it as easy as possible to get
onto broadband. It also underpins the opportunity for millions of existing
broadband users to make significant savings" |
| Neil Armstrong, Marketing Director, PlusNet |
While that may seem to small for most people, the occasional user who just
checks emails and some light surfing may find that it is worth switching from
dialup as1GB per month would only cost £12.12.
