PlusNet are cutting prices for all new and existing customers on their up to
8Mbps PAYG service.
The monthly cost remains at £14.99, but now customers will have a 2GB monthly
allowance whereas it was 1GB previously.
Extra pre-pay data transfer above the 2GB is now sold in increments of 2GB
for £1.50, rather than £1 for 1GB., those who decide not to pre-pay also benefit
as they will now pay £1.80 for 2GB rather than £1.25 for 1GB.
The example PlusNet give of how much users will save won't make a huge impact
on the monthly finances, the example is of a customer who currently uses a total
of 4GB a month that will have their bill reduced from £16.99 to £16.49. Not
enought for a new router, but a least it's in the right direction!
