It was a while back that there were
rumours
that Pipex was up for sale, but now it looks like going ahead.
The company have hired investment bank UBS to carry out a sale of the company
according to reports in the Sunday Express. It claimed chairman Peter Dubens was
looking for an offer of between 16 pence and 22 pence per share, which closed at
14 pence on Friday to value to company at £336m.
