TalkTalk customers to WalkWalk?

TalkTalk could see many of it's initial customers start to vote with their feet
as hundreds of thousands of 'free'
broadband customers contracts expire. It was eighteen months ago that it
launched it's bundled offer which included the infamous 'free' broadband to UK
customers. And it hasn't been an easy ride with many customers having to wait
extended periods of time to even get connected due to the initial demand for the
service. Although things have improved, thanks to a £15m investment in customer
services, they still have a reputation for poor service and the improvements may
not be enough to keep customers.
The company itself is confident that it will keep customers, although they
have refused to comment if they will offer customers out of their contract
period and incentives to stay.

"We are confident that customers that have enjoyed free broadband will
continue to do so. This is borne out by our own research and independent
research by Point Topic that shows that the majority of TalkTalk
customers are happy with their service and happy to remain with TalkTalk," |

One problem is that although their deals are the cheapest around for phone
and broadband bundles, Sky's offering of broadband with Satellite TV is
more appealing to many consumers. It maybe that what Talktalk see is the usual churn
of customers.
