ISP NewNet have announced a revamp on their ADSL packages and re launched a range of Broadband solutions aimed for the home user, starting with an entry level package from just £15.48 Inc VAT.

NewNet has taken concepts from some of the more radical offers for broadband access the UK has seen, and now offers a range of packages with usage limits, time restrictions and unrestricted usage services - at both 512 and 1024 download speeds.

Despite both Home 500E & the 1000E packages providing unrestricted access, both solutions do come with what is possibly the highest contention ratio for any ISP - 200:1 (no - no typo), between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00, equating to a potential 2.5Kbps download rate during these times. Of course, given the rules of contention, this would be the worst case scenario
