In an attempt to increase the number of SDSL users, BT has cut the supplier connection charges by 50%.
SDSL as you know gives subscribers the same download and upload speeds, so 512/512 or 1Mb/1Mb.
The reduced price starts 21 October. The usual price of £450 will be cut to £225.
| "This special offer is designed to stimulate the take up of SDSL [symmetrical digital subscriber line] services which are still relatively new products, and to encourage more of our service provider customers to add SDSL products to their broadband portfolio.
"We plan to double the number of exchanges where we offer SDSL in the coming
months," |
| Wally Freeman, BT Wholesale general manager for broadband products |
This follows hot on the heals of BT Wholesale announced plans to increase the number of exchanges offering SDSL from 150 to 300.
