Symmetric satellite broadband on the way

<P align=left>French company Eutelsat, has announced the launch of e-Bird - the worlds first satellite designed for symmetric (two way) broadband communications.
Launched on September 27th September 2003, the satellite is expected to go live late November 2003 serving Europe & Turkey. The bird will be in geo at 33 degrees East, as can be seen in the image (below).
