BT Retail's Danon quits BT

BT Retails top dog Pierre Danon has announced his resignation from the telco effective January 2005. Danon will take up a new position of Chief Operating Officer at Cap Gemeni.

Earlier this month it was strongly rumoured that a "boardroom bustup" between Danon and BT Chief Exec Ben Verwaayen over Danon's passion for BT Retail using LLU as a way to rival other ISPs by offering Video on demand etc.
