ZDNet yesterday covered an interesting article regarding DSL Max - a trial by BT which will hopefully see 8Mbps downstream coupled with up to 832Kbps upstream speeds. Quoting business analysts Ovum, ZDNet write that BT are to "begin trialling a wholesale version of ADSL broadband known as DSL Max in September."
Why interesting ? Well, according to our sources, the DSL Max trial has been underway since earlier in the year.
What's maybe trying to be said is either an extended trial is set to run in September, or that, as expected back in June. of this year, a full product launch could be imminent.
