Ok, i have a BT Voyager 205 Router, and i need to open ports 6881-6889 (Bit Torrent), i have Followed the guide for my router on www.portforward.com, and when i run Advance Port Scanner It says that still all ports are closed apart from 6881, 6882-6889 are still closed.

Pics:

You can See all the NAT rules I have setupup on my router here, i have them all directed to my IP, I'm not sure if this is the right IP i should be putting in, i wasn't sure if it should be, 192.168.1.2

Image

Here you can see what i have each rule set at, they are all the same apart from the different ports for the last 3 options, if there was an option in the "add rule" menu, to set the range, eg "6881-6889", i think i could figure it out, but there isnt, it only lets you do one port per rule =/ i'm also not sure if i have set the "Local Port" option to the correct thing, i just put it to the same as the "Destination Port" on all of the rules.

I'm not sure what i have to put here, but on portforward.com they say i have to setup a static IP here, and I'm not sure how to do that.

If anyone can help, I would be extremely Grateful, My Bit Torrent Downloads at speeds like 2/3kbps when it should be at like 200kbps Sad

Thanx,
Bael

As it's a NAT setup the Local IP should 192.168.1.2

Portforwarding/DHCP etc are all on the LAN rather than the WAN side.

I am also having trouble port forwarding.
I followed the guide on portforward.com for Another bittorrent client(ABC)and everything was going well until I got to Rule id 24 (port 6904) and when I clicked to add i get an error message:

Fails to perform the specified action...

Error: Table is full

Can anyone help?

Well unfortunatly I can't help cos I have the same router and it is possibly the most **** piece of **** I have ever come accross. Best bet would be to get a net gear router... cos they work.

Hi I believe the voyager 205 is restricted to 10 port forwarding rules.

Keep asking the same question over and over in the same forum won't encourage people to answer.....

Hi,

Fairly basic stuff that. Google should be able to give you the answer..

Right click your network connection - Properties.
Select Internet Protocol - click properties.
Use "Use the following IP address" - put your 192.168.1.2 in there along with you subnet, gateway and your dns settings.
Click Ok a couple of times.

Des. . . Cool
