Post subject: Virgin Broadband
Can anyone tell me what Virgin charge for their customer service helplines and is it any good.

Does anyone here have Virgin Broadband and how does it work after 1600hrs and during the evenings, especially in the West country. It seems Virgin is actually unlimited at all times except for a minority capped at 512KB for a week.

I currently have Tiscali Broadband recently upgraded to 8MB, it ran at 4MB for a while and has now settled back to 2MB during the day. This is strange as my Draytek router connects to ADSL at 3.3MB. However after 1600hrs every day Tiscali drops to 35KB or so. I have checked with other Tiscali users on a different exchange and they say the same.
I emailed Tiscali help and a lame reply came back from India or somewhere else in the Universe that I pay for a 2MB line. Not true as it's 8MB. They will not answer a straight question, what time does traffic sharing start and what is it.

It seems the companies take our money and give as little as possible back.
I would appreciate any comments please.
