I port forward port 11000 for Azuereus.I was using BT VOYAGER 220V earlier and whenver i ran a scan on grc.com
it returned a result saying that the port was shielded.

I have switched to a NETGEAR 834 v3 and when i ran the scan this time,it seems that the port is open.

How do i go about securing this?

You can't!!

Port forwarding is basically opening the port, but I've no idea why the Voyager showed it as closed...unless it wasn't actualy open.

With my old Solwise SAR130 router GRC.com showed forwarded ports as shielded although it worked properly. No idea why.
