I used to be such a big fan of Eclipse UK, but it seems like they have started to steadily decline in customer service and uptime.

Did they get acquired by a big nasty provider or something?

I'm currently using my Vodafone as a modem to post this as I surf for recommendations on providers to switch to, because my Eclipse has been down for the past week. Anyone else having LLU or exchange problems in Fulham? This is our 3rd problem in the last couple of months. I'd love to know which LLU subcontractor Eclipse uses so I can switch to a provider that uses a different one (Eclipse tech support won't tell me).

I used to recommend Eclipse to friends who asked for a provider, but I don't think I can anymore. One of my friends who had signed up for Eclipse cancelled when she moved home, and got a cancellation acknowledgement email from Eclipse, but turned out to be still paying a few months on, because she hadn't "filled out the cancellelation questionaire" she had been emailed. Technical issues with LLU's aside, that seems a bit dodgy.

They are 'middle of the road' according to one poll.

AFAIK they haven't been swallowed up...yet...
