efficient.com redirects to siemens.com and most links between the two are broken, and in particular nowhere are firmwares for the 5880 and siblings to be found...
Does anyone have them? Do they even exist in the wild or have they ever existed?
Anybody with ideas or info, please step forward.
Thank you,
Anders |

Thanks Steve,
I came across that link elsewhere and have written to the apparent maintainer/owner... Hopefully something will show up.

Hi,
Any joy on the contact?
I've just come to hunt for firmware updates for my 5861 (on v6.3.071) and found that all my carefully archived links are dead. There was a page, 'Siemens Subscriber Networks Alternative Kernel Environment'.. ..that had everything - but darn it!
Does anybody have a definitive answer on whether there will ever be anymore upgrades for these older models, or should I stop looking and probably accept that I am finally obselete? I do hate ditching perfectly good hardware though.
Could anybody (Admin) tell us where BUG were acquiring their lastest revisions from in the d/l section?
Thanks. |
