| Any news / recommendations on alternative ISPs to Karoo for the unfortunates in the East Yorkshire area? |

| I made a big deal about this to KC. I complained to the monopolies commision about zero competition in Hull for broadband. They argued that it was a business decision not to compete in Hull. I argued that KC owned the infrastructre and did not allow competition to use it (without massive rental to KC). You are free to use any isp in Hull, but you have to pay KC first then the overhead costs to the other party. IE: pay BT the cost of laying down a special line just for you!!. In Hull you HAVE to use KC.. |
