Hello Everyone!
Can someone help me?
I have upgraded a siemens 5830 router from the BT firmware to 6.3.071 everything went ok but I cannot connect to the internet.
I see some when that I have to telenet the router and type
rem setatmtraffic 0 0 1 0 internet
save
But when I do this it does not recognize the command, does anyone know what I am doing wrong or is there another command I should use?
Your help would be most gratefull

Telenet does exactly the same as when I use the console cable. It displays all the same info.

If you haven't too much config on it, I would suggest telnet to it, do a
msfs
to list files, delete every one except kernel.f2k (no asic.aic on these), and then type reboot (at no point in this procedure type save or sync).
When back up, http to it and run easy setup.
If, after this, it looks like it is attempting to connect, but cant, its possible that it may be one of the bad batch. |

Know wonder you are called THE BOY!
I did what you said and its all up and running Im using it now!
Thank you very much! I can now try and work on creating a VPN tunnel. Do you know If a Ximeta Netdisk can be setup over a VPN tunnel without a host computer? If not is there a good reliable and fast network disk that will?
Thanks for all the help everyone!

Glad you at least have connectivity now
As to the software, not sure. I run Windows and Linux servers behind mine that deal with VPNs, so long time since I set one up at the router level |
