This is my first post in this august forum.
I would be glad of confirmation that a file called 5861-634.63030 which is the kernel file I have downloaded from www.uk-bug.net should have its name changed to kernel.f2k before uploading it to my Speedstream 5861. You will understand my caution in not wishing to render my 5861 totally useless by uploading the wrong file. The 5861's model number is 060-5861-A36.

Yes the 5861 requires the kernel to be named this.
Don't worry about messing the router up, even if it goes completely pear shaped you can still recover it  |
