Hi,

Something I came across recently.

Do you need to get/force your xDSL modem or router to use the loopback address to run a successful web server with IIS ? ? ? Fully accessable to the internet and locally??

Taa for all suggestions. . . Cool

No, on most mail and other servers you can specify either \\localhost, 127.0.0.1 or your local LAN IP.

I don't use IIS anymore, but I don't remember having any IP issues with it. Smile
