The site is not logging me in automatically when i visit, I do not have any problems with any of the other forums I frequent. Does this do anyhting differently?

Not as far as I'm aware .. and at least - I hope not Crazy

Your browser (which browser ?) is accepting the cookie OK, right ? Can you see when the cookie should expire ?

Plus - also lets go for the obvious solution .. have you ticked the "Remember me" tickbox ?

Seems that IE will encrypt the cookie .. not sure how to find out the expiry in that case.

Do you have any software firewall running ? This can sometimes block cookies. As could the IE security level. As a test, try dropping IE to minimum security and see if you can replicate.

Or go to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files and change the view to Details.

This should give you the info on when it was accessed, expires etc etc

My bug one runs out in 2029!!
