Zen Internet is the latest in a long line of ISP's deciding to go down the
LLU route to provide broadband to it's customers.
Trials have started on it's local exchange in Rochdale and will offer speeds
of 4Mbps and 8Mbps, if successful then it may offer ADSL2+ connections which can
provide speeds of up to 24Mbps.
Some lucky Zen users will be contacted by email and transferred for a BT
IPStream connection to the LLU one, with expected downtime of between five to
thirty minutes.
| "Our main objective is to provide the best possible network
connectivity services for customers in terms of quality and
performance. This market trial will enable us to fully investigate
LLU and the potential for rolling out our own unbundled network in
the future so that we can continue to provide high quality services
to our customers." |
