It seems that us Europeans like the internet, so much that on average we spend more than 11 hours a week browsing the net.

According to research by the European Interactive Advertising Association (EIAA) more of use are finding time to use the internet rather than sitting about watching TV, instead we do equally active things like sending emails, making internet phone calls, using instant messaging and online forums.

It found that 45 percent of European internet users go online every day and visit social networking websites at least once a month, with 31 percent download music at least once a month (it doesn't say whether legal or not), while 15 per cent make phone calls using VoIP.
