The Carphone Warehouse is hoping to reach 3.5 million customers connected
onto it's LLU network by 2010 and says that it is improving it's reputation of
connecting customers.
At the present they have plans to cover 1,650 exchanges by March next year
and hopes to move over more than 50 percent of the one million AOL customers
which it gained last year after it's purchase of the ISP. Also it is hoped that
80 percent of customers of it's TalkTalk bundle will also be moved away from
BT's network. One of the resons fro the move is that it would gain an extra 30
percent in revenue, which would delight shareholders.
| "In broadband, we are targeting 3.5 million residential customers by
March 2010. Provisioning times are falling as the unbundling process
becomes more streamlined, and we are confident that our increased
investment in customer service will deliver a much improved customer
experience." |
