BT slash broadband migration charges.

BTWholesale have announced plans to slash the amount they charge for end user migrations,
The new charge for IPStream to IPStream changing ISPs will be £11+vat, down from a previous cost of £35+vat whilst the IPStream to DataStream migration option gets a similar reduction to £11+vat, but down from £50+vat. The new price comes into effect on the 1st May 2004.
The change in pricing comes about due to a complaint registered with OFCOM, by Tiscali and Thus over ADSL migration charges in June 2003. OFCOM, earlier today, published a consultation over ADSL migration charges, proposing the £11 figure.
BT's announcment can be read here will take effect from the 1st May 2004.
