Its a BT Yahoo night tonight with the stories it seems. UK-Bug has learned that BT Yahoo ! Broadband will shortly launch a new broadband product aimed at game console owners.
The product (official name BT Yahoo ! Broadband For games console) will launch on the 13th October 2003, in conjunction with BT's other group company, BT Broadband.
The promotion being run by BTYahoo & BT Broadband will differ slightly, depending on which of the two services consumers subscribe to.
For BT Yahoo ! Broadband, new customers will be offered a Home500 connection at BT Yahoo's normal price of £29.99. A Speedtouch 530 ADSL Router/Modem for £69.99 (this price point is achieved via a £30 cashback* offer, off the normal RRP price of £99.99). These prices include VAT.
Existing BT Yahoo customer will not be entitled to the Router offer, instead be offered a same router (Speedtouch 530) for £75 or a Speedtouch 510 for £90 (both inc VAT) via BT's onlinegaming pages, in association with DSLShop. There is no cashback facility on either of the above two offers.
For BT Broadband customers, an offer of a Home 500 based ADSL connection, plus the chance to purchase a Voyager 200 combined odem/router for £99.99 is available. Again - there is no cashback with this offer.
* Cashback processed by cashbackstatus.com
