Selected BT punters have been receiving details of BTs 21st Century Network trial over the last week or so, offering a free broadband speed increase to 2Mbit, free phone calls & two free BT X10 digital cordless phones to boot.
The 21CN trials in Martlesham Heath in Suffolk, Milton Keynes and London’s Docklands will see further tests of the migration of voice calls from the existing PSTN over to IP, and expects to be up and running with 1500 testers by March 2005.
