We rumoured a few weeks ago that Easynet were preparing to rival BT by
allowing other companies to purchase it's LLUStream product.
Now they have announced the first ISP to sign up with them, business ISP Onyx
Internet. Onyx will use LLUStream to roll out differentiated high-bandwidth
services to its customers in the North East of England and Scotland.
"LLUStream means that ISPs, carriers and system integrators can
finally offer their customers innovative LLU services provided by someone
other than BT. It gives organisations access to a unique portfolio of great
value, incredibly fast connectivity speeds and stringent SLAs.
Onyx Internet and its customers will benefit enormously from these products,
driving them towards true business transformation." |

Hopefully this is just the beginning, and more ISP's will follow.
